Net7, StoM coordinator, presented its flagship solution Pundit at DARIAH Community Sessions. The new version of semantic enrichment technology Pundit will be extensively used in PunditBrain for implementing the annotation features.
DARIAH – the Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities aims at facilitating long-term access to, and use of, all European Arts and Humanities (A+H) digital research data. The community sessions at the DARIAH General VCC meeting are intended provide the opportunity for existing communities to inter-connect with DARIAH colleagues.
The session aimed at illustrating Pundit main features and components (the client, feed, ask) as well as showing how it has been used by specific scholarly communities in Philosophy, History of Art, Philology and History of Thought domains. Attendees were practically introduced to Pundit through dedicated exercises thought to give them the first skills to produce semantic annotations on Digital Libraries and generic websites.
